Hifz Project

We are looking for sponsors for the students. Estimated cost for each student for a year is £400. Any surplus from your contribution will go towards the running cost of the school.

On average. it takes three years for a student to become a hafiz of the Qur’an. You can sponsor a student for three years or yearly. You can make a one-off payment or set up monthly standing orders.

Please see below the list of students awaiting a sponsor. We will include your name as a sponsor and you also have the option to remaining anonymous. You can also see the progress of the students and the impact your donations are making towards developing future generation of huffaz.

Insha Allah, you will get rewarded for every letter of the Qur’an recited by the student. Your reward will be multiplied when the student of hifz teaches Qur’an to others Insha Allah. Your donation will become Sadaqah jariyah, that continues to benefit people long-term and continues to earn rewards for you even after death.

The Prophet, on him be peace, famously said: “When a human being dies, all one’s deeds cease, save three: a Sadaqah Jariyah, [religious] knowledge [one leaves behind] from which others benefit, and a righteous child who prays for one” (Muslim).

When you sponsor a Hifz student, you reap untold blessings as they learn, memorise and teach the Holy Qur’an for years to come.

It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah that the Prophet (PBUH) said: “The one who recites the Qur’an and learns it by heart, will be with the noble righteous scribes (in Heaven) and the one who exerts himself to learn the Qur’an by heart and recites it with great difficulty, will have a double reward.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 4653; Muslim, 798)
